For 21 months after a slip and fall incident and being told by the homeowners insurance company that a settlement was coming i realized the statute of limitations was nearing. I was referred to Michael B.Smith by an attorney with a different law firm. After a consult with his para legal, Ms Karen Casarella and follow-up with Michael they agreed to represent me. Within the next 90 days they had obtained a settlement offer from the insurance company. From there they negotiated with my insurance companies that had paid for my medical expenses. Michael and Karen were able to negotiate on my behalf and lower my obligation for reimbursement to pennies on the dollar. As a result, my case is closed.
