I hired this firm after they were recommended to me by a friend. As a woman going through a divorce in Cherokee County from my ex-Wife, I wanted a lawyer who was going to take my case seriously and be able to protect the interests of myself and my children in the event we made it into a Courtroom. Luckily, Caryn was able to help me settle my case in mediation, which was a big win for me. Caryn was patient with my case and allowed me the time I requested to work on a settlement directly with my spouse, yet was always ready to step in and protect my legal interests when the communication between us broke down and became impossible to navigate on my own. Her staff was friendly and responsive, even if she wasn’t immediately available. She showed up at mediation well prepared and made me feel comfortable knowing the things that were most important to me were priorities to her as well. Recently closed a case that was a simple uncontested divorce and you can honestly do better. Extremely misled on what the predicted cost would be and I avoided any extra contact at all costs to minimize my expense. I spent less than 20 minutes on the phone and only sent a half dozen or so emails back and forth. Simple divorce copy and paste the materials with some simple edits. Basic as it can get with kids involved. Over $4k later the divorce was final. I feel lied to and honestly robbed of money they didn't earn. And as others have stated, I was thoroughly unimpressed with Julio Perez-Bravo. Lori is a rude hound for an outstanding bill, paid over $4k and she's rude about the last few hundred bucks. She needs some manners. Lacey was great during the intake but dont be fooled as I was on what the cost will be. I definitely feel duped by her and the firm as a whole Maybe you'll have a different experience but I'd look elsewhere for an uncontested divorce.
