Forest Lawn

Most peaceful place in Los Angeles and the most beautiful memorial park to bury loved ones. Unlike typical cemeteries, Forest Lawn honors death with beautiful art and prose from the Renaissance era. The feeling here is of peace and tranquility, gently reminding us all that death is to be celebrated just as much as life. Celebrities like Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and Walt Disney are buried here.

Very spacious and peaceful. Very well kept lawn for such a large area. Gorgeous hills and buildings.

Going thru a family loss is hard and you would expect things to run seamless. For the most partit does until you receive the death certificate with wrong information even after it was confirmed before processing. Also, they dont let you look over everything in a timely manner, and try to gain extra dollars out of you, and then at the processing portion when you finally seeif you itemize your funeral it is cheaper and they get upset with you for having to do it all over again.n Dont try and swindle me in a hard time and get upset with me. nnOtherwise the grounds are beautiful.

Very peaceful place with an incredible staff. From the woman in the florist shop, to the staff that helped me with info, to the groundskeepers...everyone respectfully cares. I was there to visit my Dad and knew where his site was by heart, but I hadn't visited my mother-in-law's grave for a long time and I became completely lost trying to find it. Along came Javier and Antonio, out doing some grounds-keeping duties. Seeing my confusion, they had me follow their vehicle all the way to the grave. Then? They hopped out, hedged, cleaned and oiled her tombstone for me AND brought a temporary vase out for the flowers I'd brought!!! I mean, I was already emotional but this nearly knocked me speechless. Couldn't recommend this place more.

I had a very informative meeting and was very satisfied.
