I first worked with Frijouf Rust & Pyle in the mid-70s when I approached them with a patent idea for my father. Robert (Bob) Frijouf determined the idea was a long shot which, in the end, saved us a lot of time and money by not pursuing an idea that was not likely to come to fruition. In the late 80s, I brought them a design of my own which they determined was a viable idea and brought it to patent. I sought out and found a highly recommended group of Attorneys specializing in Patents, Copyrights and Trademarks to satisfy my need for a utility patent on a rather complicated invention. I ultimately received the patent in July of 2017… ahead of the schedule I was told to expect and with all the important claims I sought granted in the patent. With offices in both Sarasota and Tampa, visiting for face to face meetings was a breeze. My patent was expertly handled by attorney David Frijouf from beginning to end and the patent was secured at a cost that was under the budgeted amount estimated. This was my 2nd patent and was by far the most professionally managed process in my experience. Typically, I do not bring champagne to the patent delivery meeting… or for that matter ANY conclusion of a successful business transaction, but I did just that to celebrate the successful issuance of a very complicated, extensively technical patent.
