I sent an email with a very simple [yes or no] question to determine whether a consultation was needed, as I did not want to waste my or the attorney's time. After several back and forth emails with a legal assistant (I have no problem with that, it is expected that initial contact is not directly to the attorney) all I got was a forwarded message from Mr Geller saying "We are sorry but we can not help you." nnIt is fairly obvious to me from this interaction that their goal is to get you in the door where you will likely be pressured to make important decisions there and then. The yes or no question was not answered.

Don't bother for student loans! They have a whole section of their website devoted to student loans. I even made sure the girl who made my appt knew I wanted to have a consultation for student loans to see what my options were. 30 minutes after my appt time, I met with attorney Clark. He said that student loans were not able to be written off with bankruptcy (I knew that) and there's nothing else they can do. He also asked several times if I had any other outstanding debt that I needed written off. I'm sure they are good at bankruptcy, but a complete waste of time for student loans. Don't bother.
