BEWARE of this firm. The are in the practice of asking for a large retainer and over billing. Their billing practices are outrageous. Larry Segall charged us over $1100.00 to write a letter that was 3 lines. We had specifically asked to just have him on retainer and told him we did not want to spend much money but we knew he needed to review some stuff. We did not send him much and he went through the retainer in 1 month. He saw a way to grab money from us and he did. When we sent a letter to the President of the firm about this, he ignored us. There are plenty of firms in the Tampa area so please AVOID this one.
The firm didnt represent me, they opposed me but we settled the matter amicably at their office and I hope in future that they would represent me if I had a legal need. Rod and Jack were both awesome. Many thanks for your professionalism.
We highly recommend this firm for elder law care. Attorney, Elizabeth Allen, is very friendly and did a wonderful job explaining the current laws and giving expert advice. The information she provided will definitely assist us with our financial planning.
Larry overcharged a couple of colleague's ferociously. They billed $2000 before a retainer was even signed. Total bill was $4515 for a three sentence letter. Law firms and attorneys are expensive, but this goes beyond comprehension.
After having questions regarding my billing, Jonathan Gilbert worked with me to ensure a fair amount was reached and was a pleasure to work with.
