These guys are criminals. They waited 4 years after filing a judgment to actually try to collect a debt that we didn't even know about. We were never served, and they tried to garnish from a job over 10 years ago. needless to say there was thousands of dollars in interest. When we tried to settle on the original amount of $7, 000 and one payment they told us no and refuse to work with us at all. They drug this out just to collect the money. Criminals I tell you!
5 star review for debt collector YES--I will say Covid hit me hard, however this company was very high affinity, understanding and workable to get these accounts squared away through plans, settling, etc. Mathew Aylworth and Simon were absolutely human, kind and helpful in handling the accounts. Simon particularly was super duper helpful, patient, answered my tons of questions and really got me actually excited to end the debts! THANKS SO MUCH SIMON!!!!!
Liars. I settled my account for $600, have been making montly payments for $50 (never late) yet, they lie, my credit report says I owe them over $800, and have had late payments. When I called to ask how to resolve this issue, Dominic told me he can't give me any information because I had attorney representation. Just horrible business practices. Have reported to WSBA and the Better Business Bureau.
This is the absolute worst place to work with. They don't care if your trying to survive, they just care about the money and will keep adding interest to your bill along with other hidden fees that they tack on. There is no way a credit card bill for a little over 2,000 equals to being over 7,000. They will mail notices to the wrong address and say they mailed them to your updated address that was given the first time I talked to them back in 2023. They will lie about where it was sent when you find out the notice was sent to the absolute wrong place. Then basically say your lying because you received one of the notices that was mailed out and was back dated to 'May 22nd and then mailed out on the 29th. Then certify a letter to your work before you even have a chance to rectify the notice. I would give zero stars but google won't allow it. Again these people are crooks who do NOT DESERVE TO BE OPEN.
The reason I was contacted by this law firm was my own fault from past mistakes. Matthew made the resolution seamless, timely, and went above and beyond for me. I was treated as a person, not a document or a payday. While I do hope I never have to deal with them again in this context, I will definitely keep them in mind if a situation were to arise in the future.
