Gregory H. Hofer, Attorney

He is my court appointed attorney. He is not only working on the case hebwas given, but also with my other court appointed attorney to fix the absolute mess of charges I have filed against me because the cops are trying to charge me with the same crime in two cities. He's been my lawyer for 3 months and has all but gotten all the charges thrown out due to police negligence. I am more than satisfied with the services he has provided me and if I run into trouble in the future, I will absolutely go out of my way to hire him rather than risk getting a lawyer who doesn't care about my case. He and his team have been nothing short of amazing!

I used Mr. Hofers services when it came to my child's guardianship 10yrs ago. It was a stressful time as my son's father had just passed away. Of course, leaving an insurance policy for his son hence the guardianship. As stressful as that was Mr. Hofers office made the process as smooth as possible. It is now 10yrs later and sone of that money is needed for my child's braces. I'm very impressed with how easy and uncomplicated they have made this current process. A friend got stuck with him as a public defender and he didn't do anything! He pushed the court date back and made her sit for 2 more weeks just because he said he didn't have "time to prepare" when the court date was still a week away and it was only a probation violation! My opinion is just that, but to me he seems lazy and unmotivated!

He is a wonderful lawyer! Just a little slow at getting things done, but I think he is the best in Laporte County.

Terrible attorney. Will not get you the best deal because he is lazy. Does not follow through with what he says or respond to emails. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else. You will regret hiring him.
