I don't recommend her as Gal. It's sadly said by Deputies in Fayette County she's not a good court appointed public defender as well people who she represented in the past in criminal cases speak poorly of her and i know people that the courts appointed her as a gal and requested a different one due to her lack of representation in a criminal case she has with this particular person . This Lady is biased and she lies one after another. Fails to return phone calls, she's late upon arrival on appointments. She lies during her appointments and has been caught . She will talk through other attorneys behind your back. She only cares about her position and does not care about representation for the children. She does not do a complete investigation. She will lie for the other parent . She will take your Money and run with it . She address things to the courts but doesn't even know what she's talking about, she doesn't provide the accurate information and will communicate with the parent who she choose to side with. She will run with your Money she took $750.00 from me and did absolutely nothing. She will flip anything you say and turn it into something different. I feel for any Family who is appointed her ,who truly is in hard situations with your children. Fight for your child if given this Lady . She's Awful!

Paid Kathryn for services in March of this year. So many voicemails left with no returned calls. Office closed a lot. Minimal communication. Was told our case was being filed several times. Never happened. Finally after 6 months we asked for a refund which we did in fact get. Sad thing is we wasted time on something that could have been resolved by now. Very unprofessional! Would not recommend if you need something filed asap for a family case.

I've called this office for two weeks. My first attempt I spoke with a lady who said "Katheryn is on the other line, I will have her call you when she's finishes that call." I never received a call. I've since called 5 or 6 times in the past couple weeks, leaving detailed voicemails each time for Katheryn Hapner. Not a single return call to date. Very unprofessional to say the least.

If I could leave a zero I would, I am going through a. Wry serious case and have only spoke 2 times to her in 3 months once 1 hour right before my pretrial and another time during my final pretrial because I wasnt able to log onto the meeting, I know nothing going on with my case. She mailed my discovery papers to the wrong address, doesn't answer the phone nor does she return phone calls. She doesn't keep contact whatsoever. I have never been in any type of trouble ever so I really dont know a thing about the things going on with anything involved in my case so I figured I'd have a lawyer that would explain things to me and be more insightful considering my circumstances but instead I've got a lawyer that does everything the complete opposite of that, she does nothing at all. And I still do t know what to do about anything and clearly will have no help figuring anything out, and I'm sure prisoners dont get very much attention or rights which is where I'm heading if I dont figure things out or get help with anything my lawyer should be helping with.

Called and talked to the secretary to see what I could do. She said I’d have to make an appointment with the attorney. When I asked when the next available appointment was she said “let me see” then hung up on me. I called back 4 times right after that and every time she just picked up and hung up on me without saying a word.
