I called Mr. Neal a few years ago when he was in Vincennes and I totally agree with some of the reviewers on here about how rude and uncaring he is. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

If I could give a ZERO star review I would. Mr. Neal must either not like getting new clients. Mr. Neal returned my call to his office at 6pm on a Wednesday. Normally, I would think that this is great client service and actually wants a client. Boy was I wrong, I quickly found out that I was an inconvenience for Mr. Neal and at one point he even said "we are on the phone at 6pm, so humor me". IF IT IS THAT BIG OF AN INCONVENIENCE TO CALL A POTENTIAL CLIENT THEN WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY. This guys poor attitude and lack of compassion are just a few of the horrible service of this man. I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to this guy even if he was the last attorney around.

Warning! Warning! Do NOT hire this agency! On September 24th, 2020 I contacted Hart Bell agency for an initial phone consultation. I spoke with a gentleman who identified himself as Attorney Jeffrey Neal. I was calling on behalf of a good friend of mine that needed some legal help to defend against a relatively minor 7 year old possession charge in a nearby neighboring county. I was making this initial consultation for my friend for a couple of reasons; first and foremost I would be the one paying the upfront retainer fees which my friend did not have the financial resources for. And he is a special needs person that lacks certain communication skills to effectively translate what was a highly detailed situation. I explained both of these issues to Mr. Neal when he asked why I was the one calling. Mr. Neal lacked any empathy and was very dismissive. He outright scoffed at both issues. As Mr. Neal was reviewing the details of the case using the online resources he had, he began to ask various personal questions about MY personal life including the nature of my personal relationship with my friend. None of these had anything to do with the matter at hand. He seemed cavalier, and bothered. I began to question to myself if I had called a legal agency that did not handle criminal cases. I asked Mr. Neal, “Sir, you ARE a criminal defense attorney that fights for people that have been accused of committing crimes, correct?” In his reply he stated he was a criminal defense attorney and then asked me why I questioned that. My reply was, “Oh, because I’m not clear who’s best interest it is that you and this agency have in mind.” He paused and then said, “Good luck chief!” And then he hung up on me. In short, I contacted another local criminal defense attorney who was VERY helpful and compassionate, and the matter was quickly resolved with a satisfactory outcome. As a warning to anyone considering hiring Mr. Neal or anyone else affiliated with Hart Bell agency; DO NOT hire these people for your defense under any circumstances! I wouldn’t hire them to get out of a parking ticket. They were very unprofessional and perhaps even unethical.

I've done business here twice, both to do with purchasing, and transferring property. The staff is wonderful, and makes the process as easy as possible. Their rates were very fair and affordable. Location is easy to find and very well maintained. Looking forward to using their services again in the future
