I wish I could give "zero" stars. I have known Ryan and his family since high school. Never gave it a second thought that everything would go HORRIBLY wrong when my Father passed in January of 2022. Now 2 years later, I finally have closure. Ryan avoided phone calls, did not answer numerous emails, failed to prevent my Father's HOA from assessing over $6000 in fees, as he promised. Losing the last member of my family (my rock) was a nightmare, but dealing with Ryan and his wrong doings and lack of care was almost as bad. I had to hire a new attorney at the last minute (after the lies turned into silence) and had to pay all of the fees all over again. I will be reaching out for compensatory fees.

I made the biggest mistake of my life when I hired Ryan Layton as my probate attorney. It’s been over a year and a half of pure hell and it’s still not finished because he doesn’t answer my emails or calls (he has caller ID). I sold the probate house a year ago and as of yet the funds have not been distributed and lies all the time when we can get the money out of HIS trust account. He is a habitual liar so you can NEVER trust what he says. In the last 2 months he has set up 2 hearing dates (see below) and failed to show at either one. His excuses were unbelievable and far from the truth. I warn you to not use this lawyer. Do your due diligence on who represents your cause. I would give him a negative score if I could. Mr. Layton totally mishandled my case and now is being investigated by Florida Bar of Florida Supreme Court. Please dont fall victim to this unethical "lawyer". I hope there is a minus rating avaialbe to put up here.

Ryan Layton is a terrible attorney. Not to be trusted and relied upon. Over a year trying to work through a simple legal issue and $7500 later, he doesn't return calls or keep any commitments. I'm firing him and retaining a new attorney to finish my case.

Wonderful firm. Such a warm and genuine place. I do all of my legal needs there , from title work, Estate planning, litigation etc. A great family business with bright, energetic and competent attorneys
