We consulted with Mr. Nickle when faced with a complex situation of guardianship of minor with an intellectual disability reaching the age of adult, on short notice, while in residential treatment in Utah, who resided in Texas. While I was in Texas with our local attorney, Mr. Nickle collaborated, and clearly demonstrated his intimate knowledge of the law, along with familiarity with interstate needs, to put in place stop gap measures that eventually led to permanent guardianship that will be honored in Texas.
