BEWARE of Michael Dominick let me save you your time and money before even considering using Michael Dominick for your services. First of all the receptionist who was very sweet I believe is coached to say whatever it takes to schedule the appointment. I was lied to, to feel comfortable enough to make the appointment. Was told the hourly rate and I said oh I most likely will only take up no more then 20 minutes, I only wanted to ask a couple of questions. She said no problem they will refund for whatever time I don’t use. Which is the only reason I agreed to the appointment. I was there on time, was made to wait cause he was “consulting with a colleague” I was told, which was fine, walked into his office 15 minutes later. Was in his office almost 25 minutes before telling him that I don’t think he is what I was looking for. At the front I asked about the refund and you can tell his frail ego was hurt and said we don’t do that. And I explained then I was lied to and that now I feel conned into making the appointment because I never would have accepted knowing the truth. Said to contact billing and she was just plain rude. She then said that “I am just mad because he wouldn’t take my case” lol oh honey I’m sorry I think you have it twisted but it’s his weak frail male ego that is mad that I didn’t want him. She then dismissed me rudely. Maybe he needs the extra cash because he is the least paid lawyer in that office and was able to take my appointment instantly so that speaks volumes for his books. Maybe he will use the cash to tailor his poorly fit suit. I have the original phone call recorded on my home security cameras to prove I was told about the refund policy and I have the appointment voice recorded because I sometimes forget everything that was talked about during any sort of appointment and like to reference back, so I have time stamps and everything for the record Save yourself your time and just go somewhere else. He is smug and arrogant and likes the sound of his own voice because I tried to cut off the appointment much sooner as I realized ten minutes in he was not for me but he likes to go round and round repeating himself, probably to rack up the bill and justify himself. I will be going to everywhere and anywhere to leave my review, google, yelp, Reddit, Justia, Avvo, every San Antonio group on Facebook. I will google San Antonio lawyer review sites and leave my experience so people can take from it what they will.

I was referred to Michael Ireland via another attorney that spoke very highly of him. VERY glad I took his advice! Michael was able to get me in on short notice in dealing with a custody case and review my file quickly. He was very personable, yet professional, and very easy to communicate with. He’s not afraid to call a spade and spade. He is easy to get ahold of, and is able to get right to the point (a plus if you’re avoiding running up an unnecessary bill). As our case moved forward Michael was very persistent with his “go get” attitude and I have no doubts that are case was resolved the way it did because of his help. Had I had another attorney who was just along for the ride, our case would have likely been drawn out far longer than it needed to be and been far more expensive without the positive outcome. Lastly, with Michael, you can expect him to take your case to heart. Several times he referred to my children as “our kids”. He professionally made it personal. Thank you once again Michael Ireland, could not have done it without your persistence, knowledge, and expertise. You are highly recommended in my book!

Mr. Charles E Hardy is an incredible person and impressive family lawyer. After seeing his excellent ratings and long list of accolades, I contacted him to assist with my custody case. I can’t express how appreciative I am for the compassion he demonstrated and for going above and beyond to help me. I was only able to afford a consultation with him and even though he knew that up front, he made me feel important, gave me great advice, really listened, & even took the time to personally reach out to a lawyer outside of his group who he felt would be a good fit for my scenario. If I could give a zero, I would. I paid Charles Hardy $500 for a consult regarding my hubby's military retirement. We were worried that his ex wife would come after his retirement. Hardy looked at the old divorce decree in MD and said that since hubby has retired in TX, the ex would have to come here to try an get his retirement since he lives here now. That sounded weird bc the divorce was in MD but we trusted Hardy. He said he would make a file for our concerns and if the ex came knocking, he would help us fight her because "she wouldn't have a leg to stand on" and the divorce decree was poorly written etc. Well guess what folks!!?? She came knocking and Hardy changed his tune and said we needed to get an attorney in MARYLAND! Then when we asked a follow up question, he just plain didn't even respond. We were no longer worth his time and the time he did give us was NEVER even properly prepared or researched. He said whatever would make us happy for that quick $500 consult fee. He was incredibly misleading. Shiester
