My grandson was being denied services at his school. They wanted to portray him as a “bad” child and only provide a behavior contract. I contacted Hope4 Families and they did a phenomenal job of assisting with obtaining all of the services he needed within the school district, to include an evaluation by the school psychologist. My lawyer and her assistant attended all of the IEP meetings. My lawyer also attended an additional meeting after the contract was fulfilled. My grandson, with his now documented diagnosis, is doing so much better in school. I really am grateful for their services.
I had a interesting situation with Hope for families. I had what I thought was 2 strong attorneys from their firm. The school district offered me a HORRIBLE settlement agreement and instead of those attorneys refusing and saying we'll just go to due process, we signed and now my son is suffering. They made sure to get themselves paid $11,500 off of my son but haven't contacted me about doing the "2nd phase" they suggested we do when we had data. My son was kicked out of an inclusion preschool this Summer because of all the issues the school district lied about but he started manifesting DAYS after the school year ended at the inclusion preschool. I even got them to put in writing my son needs a 1:1 aide (SOMETHING THE SCHOOL DISTRICT SAID HE DIDN'T AND REFUSED HIM) .Now he's regressing in all areas and of course it's summer so we can't get him services because the district denied him Summer school. This law firm needs to do better!
Hope4Families legal secretary Vickey forgot my phone number the day of my already scheduled phone appointment for my consultation, I had to call her, didn't ask to see my child's IEP Documents, Assessments, or anything. Just said nope we can't take your case. It was as if it was already decided by her/them that they didn't want to take the case for no reason. On Instagram they act like they have the best interests for special need families, but they don't. Sad.
Every single person in Hope4Families is a blessing for those families that struggle everyday with the school system. I do not have enough words to thank them for all the help they provide. They have always fought for families that get pushed aside by the system and managed to get the child that falls through the cracks services he/she needs to succeed.
Tony is the best therapist I’ve even been to hands down.
