A rushed move and a missed court date for a DUI came back to haunt me nearly 3 years later in Atlanta when my headlight went out. I was terrified of losing my license, an interlock, and going to jail again during a pandemic. Jay Underwood managed to drop everything to a reckless driving charge. I was anxious all summer, but Mr. Underwood never gave up. The whole office helped everything go smoothly even across the state line.

On July 26, 2019, I made the mistake of driving after I had a few drinks at the bar. I decided to take the keys of my friend because he was over the limit. I was charged with DUI and he was charged with DUI with consent. This was my 1st and my friend was facing his 2nd charge. Mr. Houston gave me comfort that his firm would fight all the way to the end. Although it was a long battle, they accomplished what we set out to do. It was reduced to reckless. My friend didn’t have any charges because of my outcome.
