On the first call to lawyers office I was transferred to Grant , I explained what my situation was and quote the plaintiff has no case , and no lawyer would take his case and if they did there just wanting his money . Time came to take my money and sign documents well just sign here and there. I asked what are theses for just bout case . Next came to meeting with his lawyer and tell my story will I was drowning my lawyer sitting on phone doing notta. Then came court well as soon as he seen how long lawyer and judge been in court together it was fear in his face saying we better make a deal . Then I asked my lawyer to try to get extension and he told me it was all good . Well turned out that was a lie and there was bench warrant for my arrests but got that token care of . Also told my lawyer that the plaintiff and courts knows I'm leaving state that was never done . I also mentioned to let court and plaintiff that I have cancer that also never happened. As my experience I wouldn't use this attorney.
I waited a long time to share this but I hired a lawyer from here about 10 years ago. I’ve never needed a lawyer before and I hope I never do again because of Kelley and his unprofessionalism. I don’t think I’d ever trust my life in a lawyers hands again bc of this firm. Literally zero communication and zero care that my livelihood was in his hands. Kelley was condescending and rude and just literally so unbothered about my case. Gave me literally zero confidence. Then when the court date came, actually made me look worse in front of the judge by telling her something I never said so personally I do not recommend. Instead of talking with me before I came before the judge to help and ease my nerves and talk over what was going to happen, you know what I paid him for, he went in the backed and laughed and joked with the judge. I wish there was some type of refund for bad lawyers but unfortunately there’s just reviews of past regret and hope that someone reads this before wasting their hard earned money instead I guess. I basically had to “fire” him and write my own letter to the judge in order to get my license back because once he lost my case for me he wanted nothing to do with it again unless I gave him even more money to fail for me.
In case you are a single African American father who is hardworking and going through separation or divorce. I personally recommend avoiding this law firm. In my experience, this law firm does not prioritize the rights of fathers. In the event that you are looking to retain an attorney who exemplifies truth, respect, and honor and can stand up for the truth? I have repeatedly stated that these countries and regions do not provide legal counsel for African Americans. In this particular firm I experienced female paralegal intentionally hanging up the phone on me in some cases. My communication attempts had been dismissed by the female. In most cases, the firm uses a hard avoidance approach, emphasizing the defendant and non-residential parents and/or non-citizens. I comply with the recommendation of their peers and colleagues within the bar. Would you like to know which law firms in mid-America are interested in representing African Americans? In a county that has a high percentage of white residents. Under the First Amendment, speech is protected by creating and dismissing information. The protection of discussion about government affairs, specifically when it involves matters of public interest, was a key objective of the First Amendment.
Mr. Flowers did a fantastic job in my child custody case. Proved all the facts. Very good at this job. Definitely recommend 100%. He's a great person an may God bless him forever! ????
Really disappointed with this firm. Everything started out great with the initial meeting and I paid their retainer. Then they sat on my case for over a year and did absolutely nothing with it. Lied to me and never returned a single phone call. Very unprofessional and frustrating
