Jackson Lewis is a phenomenal firm and the Tampa office is second to none. As a former employee having worked at other firms, i can say without reservation that Laura Prather is an excellent leader, mentor and attorney. She advocates for her team and encourages younger lawyers to stretch themselves- which only improves their legal skills. Client focused, excellent work product, a great cohesive team- these are some of the qualities of a great team; Tampa has them all.

Laura Prather is a horrendous leader in the Tampa office. She bullies other employees, including fellow lawyers. She's incredibly insecure and the definition of a mean girl, so she manipulates stories to hold other people back and bring them down. I've watched so much bullying take place under her watch. If the leaders of this firm only knew the horrible culture she created in the office, they would be appalled. This woman is harming other employees and should be removed from her post immediately. She's widely disliked in her community as a whole.

This firm was supposed to represent my firm in two employment cases, they did absolutely nothing in my opinion to actually benefit my company, they were really good at sending giant bills that make no sense. I hired a new attorney and they resolved one of the two cases in less than month after Laura Prather and Jackson Lewis billed us thousands more than was appropriate. I am disgusted. They are everything people hate about attorneys. When I raised concerns about their billing practices, they immediately doubled their billing. Seems like they just had to make their billable hours and don't care about actually helping clients.
