Maria Estrada has been my support through this entire process. I had a gruesome accident and I wasn’t even sure I could walk again. We obviously found the company based off its name and advertising, but it ended up being much more than just a transaction. I would not recommend Jacoby and Meyers based on my experience. It is important to point out that all those with whom I spoke with from J. and M. were definitely nice. However, there were SO many different people covering SO many different phases of their process and the transitions between the many different people was always unexpected, stressful and confusing. I signed up with J. and M. in mid December 2023 and was never given an opportunity to actually speak to an Attorney until the end of April 2024. They keep 39.9% of your settlement in addition to up to $999.00 in "fees". In my case I am not sure why I was charged any "fees" because I was told the "fees" covered "photocopying", "phone calls with the Attorney" and "postage". Well I paid 100% for ALL photocopies that I mailed to them (I paid 100% for the postage too). And I never once spoke with my main Attorney on the phone. I spoke briefly to another Attorney who recommended my main Attorney because she "didn't know the answers (to my case questions)". Maybe their "fees" cover the cost of their Marketing package as I did receive a Welcoming box with lots of copied general J.and M. Marketing information (NOT case related) when I first signed on. If you do sign on with J. and M. I definitely recommend reading absolutely EVERYTHING they send you before signing anything. I found several critical mistakes they made on documents they sent me that I had to have them correct. The whole experience was very stressful and in the end I lost a lot money that I spent out of my pocket on medical after having a van slam into my parked car at a red light.

My experience so far has been good. Not 5 minutes after I asked for a consultation online, I received a call. Since then Karina has been following up with me constantly. Very professional so far. I trust them with my case.
