I had the displeasure of having Mr. Dye as my court appointed lawyer. 75% of the time he didn’t show up for court, but when he did, he gave the worst advice. He doesn’t want to help people, he wants to make money and end the trial as fast as possible. The worst thing you can do for yourself or a loved one is hire this man as your attorney!

Mr. Dye did not perform in a timely fashion and gave poor advice to my son because he was not up to date on the legal statute in this case. The case dragged on for months. Make sure you read the contract good. If the prosecution drops the case without prejudice- there is a chance it will come back and you could be charged more. That happened to us. We ended up getting a new lawyer who knew the county and court well. That lawyer got the charges dropped down to a misdemeanor and everything was finished in a month. We did not know anything about the court/legal system and Mr. Dye did not help our understanding. The second lawyer was very knowledgeable, and used a new, easy approach and ended this nightmare for us quickly.

Was looking for an attorney close to home and found James Dye. I found him online and he had some great reviews on one website and some not so favorable reviews on Google. I needed immediate help and chose to take a chance. I'm really glad I did. Not only did he go above and beyond for me, he also helped my parents after my dad was in a car accident. I'm not sure what happened with the other people who gave a review, but my experience was the complete opposite of theirs. I can honestly say that I will not hesitate to call him again if I ever need an attorney.

Mr. Dye had my charges completely dropped. I was facing significant time and now because of him I still have a clean record. He was more than I could have expected at about half the cost of other lawyers I talked to. Easy to get a hold of and not afraid to go to trial if necessary.
