I cannot possibly put into words to accurately describe how horrible James Yrkoski was as a “lawyer”. For a traffic violation he lagged the case on for so long and made me drive back and forth to court. He charged completely unreasonably expensive prices. He was very unpleasant to work with and I feel his main objective was not to beat the case - but rather to see how long he could drag the case on to get as much money out of me as he could. He told me he has years of experience but everyone I’ve talked to have said they haven’t even heard of him. Really - it’s either he just completely scammed me - or actually has NO IDEA what he’s doing. Either way - STAY AWAY! I am currently working to get my money back from what he STOLE from me. I switched to a different lawyer for the same case and we were in and out and it was dismissed completely. I paid half the price and the only difference in James Yrkoski did nothing good for me. ____ update to review after he responded: What a horrible so called "attorney". James Yrkoski did nothing but drag out the case as long as he could and squeeze as much money as he could out of me. Total scam of a lawyer - he puts others freedom in jeopardy for his own personal gain. Its very simple - it took 19 telephone conversations with him and 3 visits to the court to not even resolve a driving while revoked case. Meanwhile...with the next lawyer I hired, it took 1-2 phone conversations and 1 trip to court to resolve. And yes, I was charged a $575 fine as a result from the new lawyer. Which I didn't care about - I'm totally ok with being charged a fine. I prefer freedom. I can't believe he would even admit publicly that we had 19 long telephone conversations, when my whole review was based on that he drags things out and wastes time. Clearly horrible judgement and would never trust someone like this with anything. Avoid him at all costs!
I am very satisfied with the service I received from James and his law firm. The peace of mind I had from not having to deal with any of the court proceedings is honestly priceless. He handled everything very professionally and explained the process in detail to the point where I felt confident he was capable of doing what he said he would. Even though there are never any guarantees in this line of work, the end result he got for me was exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't hesitate to use James again in the future if need be or recommend him to friends and family. Thanks again!
I had gotten a speeding ticket in Will County for 28mph over. I new I was speeding. I was wrong. I needed a lawyer so I went to Google. After searching multiple law firms I came across Chicagoland Law Firm in Downers Grove. So I gave them a call. I spoke with James Yrkoski, he was able to help me out he assured me I will be ok. He kept his promise. He got me community service. And paid the fine. Would I recommend this lawyer. You better believe I would. I can officially say he is now my personal attorney for anything I need. Outstanding
I have never been so lucky to have James as my lawyer to represent me in my traffic accident case. He was absolutely very professional dealing with me which is my first time be involved in such a situation.
