I have no idea how good a doctor Dr Kaplan is because I could not get past the very unpleasant waiting room experience at the Kingston office both times I attempted to see him about six years apart so nothing's changed. It's a cattle call with every patient (most of them older) seemingly arriving simultaneously and being shoved into an overflow waiting room since the primary one is packed. The eye drops are administered en masse kind of like innoculating cattle ( yes again that's the way one is made to feel) then you wait and you wait because all of this happens at least an hour before Dr Kaplan even arrives at the office. We are made to feel as if our time is not valuable - WRONG- and some of us have jobs which are important to us. We are people not cattle not simply a number in the fat book of appointments which appear to be double & triple booked with no consideration of the schedules and lives of the patients. It took me a good month to write this because I needed to simmer down but I realized this experience delayed my seeking treatment anywhere which could be dangerous for my vision. I've found a different local retina specialist who respects her patients and their time. Just a cautionary tale here.
