I am an attorney in Twin Falls at a different firm. I have known Jeff for 10 years. Jeff is an upstanding attorney, very knowledgeable and highly capable in many areas of the law. I would not hesitate recommending a person or company to him. I became familiar with Javier Chacone (another reviewer here) this past year due to litigation between my firm’s client and Javier. Javier lives in Florida and, based upon what I understand he has done here in the Magic Valley, it is my opinion that Javier's opinion should be disregarded. If Jeff refused to take certain actions on behalf of Javier, it is likely because such actions were not permissible under Idaho law or our rules of professional conduct. Because of the attorney-client privilege, we will never know what Javier asked Jeff to do and what Jeff said. It is rather unfortunate that people like Javier can post reviews to tarnish good attorneys like Jeff. If you have any concerns, ask around. I’d bet that the honest and trustworthy people who know Jeff will speak very highly of him.

I called this Attorney to handle a Case for me, while we discussed the Case, I was extremely clear as to what I wanted him to do. He asked for a $3000 Retainer, I gave him $1000 ( Thank God ) because, he really did nothing and when I pressured him to keep moving, he decided, we didn't see eye to eye in this matter ( after I had explained exactly what I wanted to do ) and returned $250 from the $1000 I originally have given him. He charged me almost $200 for our first conversation when I was undecided about hiring him. So, STAY AWAY!! It seems in Twin Falls, you have to be more careful about hiring Lawyers than street criminals, because this is not the first time this has happened.
