Attorney’s assistant took our detailed information regarding an elderly, medicaid planning and real estate law matter. Received a call later that day stating Jimmy D. Long is no longer accepting cases because he is too “swamped.” One can easily infer that he is accepting work if he’s having his assistants go through the trouble of collecting intakes. Seemed deceitful for them to tell us he “isnt taking any new work” after the fact. My question ended up being clarified in a short paid consultation with another attorney. I wouldn’t reach out to this attorney’s office. As they stated, he’s “swamped.”
