My mom hired Ms. Mitchell to put a lien on a property co-owned with her ex-husband for $500. When he sold the house, Ms. Mitchell was again hired for another $500 because he illegally sold the house and took my mom's share of the money. The money had not yet been given to her ex-husband and Ms. Mitchell said that there was enough time to get her share. If he refused, Ms. Mitchell said that she could litigate for an additional fee of $1000. This never happened because Ms. Mitchell stopped returning my mom's phone calls. Needless to say, my mother is out a large sum of money that she badly needed. By now, my mom's ex-husband is out of the country, and there's nothing we can do. Do yourself a favor and hire another lawyer.

Took months for responses. Filed publication in wrong county. Now won’t respond. Spent over $2500 with no results . Court won’t do anything
