Can I give 6 stars? John is the most professional and caring attorney I have ever met, and I am a real estate broker. I have used his office on many deals, but recently I used John to represent my mother in the purchase of her home Brooklyn. John utilized every tool to keep my nervous mother calm. His humor and patience kept her relaxed (and me free of stress). John worked with the title company and private lender to set up a semi-remote closing where we closed with the lender's attorney and the seller closed remotely. We were able to sign, and receive keys in less than 2 hours, which is amazing in that we had to wait for the wire to be received before we could walk out with the keys. While this might have been a fairly routine deal, I doubt any other attorney would have cared enough to spend hours on the phone with a nervous woman just to get her to understand the process and trust him. He earned her trust and my admiration!

John made a fairly tricky real estate closing go smoothly. He thought of every possibility and was very responsive and available. One of the best lawyers I have ever worked with.

I have known John for decades. You cannot find a more honest and smart advocate anywhere. He is thorough and warm. Top shelf all the way.

I was going out of the country and selling my condo. I called John and told him I had to move quickly. John suggested closing by Power of Attorney. Reading his reviews on Avvo, and actually talking to him, I felt immediately comfortable. Within 30 minutes, John had sent over a Power of Attorney, which I took to my bank and had notarized. John prepared and sent out the contracts within 45 minutes of my agent sending John the deal sheet. I have sold 7 properties and never saw an attorney move that fast. John and his assistant Lisa kept me informed every step of the way. If I sent John an email, he responded promptly, often immediately. I also would text him from overseas through What'sApp and usually got replies within a minute. John sent me a breakdown of the closing two days before the closing occurred. He is that prepared! He sent me emails from the closing with updates. Within 4 hours of the closing, I had received a wire in the UK for over $2,000,000 representing the net proceeds I was expecting. John Crane was actually worth double what I paid him...but don't send me a bill!
