Recused himself from my case without any warning. Took my money left me hanging. Did absolutely nothing except for take my money. Also lost documents. Not even sure how this is legal.

John has been a valuable asset. Giving me honest answers about my expectations from the get go, he has been decisive and thorough in my dissolution of marriage, and more importantly my parenting case. He is not a man of many words, but rather to the point. Just because he doesn't call you every day doesn't mean he doesn't care or is doing nothing. He helped me prepare for a hearing for temporary relief, and I got a fair temporary parenting plan. I told him my goals, how I'd like to handle things and if it won't work or needs to be tweeked, he has always spoken up to help me be successful. Should I ever find myself in need of a good, dependable and honest family law attorney in the future, I will not hesitate to retain Mr Robert's again.

I went to talk to Mr. Roberts twice before officially hiring him to help me with my very difficult case against my husband who was missing and hiding from paying child support. He even was willing to take payments which is very rare for an attorney to do. He was very fair and very great at his job, at our hearing he knew all the paperwork we needed to show the judge and everything I asked him to ask the judge for he did. I highly recommend him to anyone who is struggling with the very hard reality of going threw a divorce with children and assets. He is very thorough and very to the point with what needs to be brought to the judge. I could not have thanked him enough!

Ignore the few negative reviews. John Roberts is highly ethical and one of the best attorneys in Gainesville. I would highly recommend him. He cares deeply for his clients and fights hard for each and every one of them. His rates are fair, he doesn’t overcharge, and he offers practical legal advice. He’s one of the good guys.

Do not hire this attorney he failed me and my children miserably. My children are now estranged from me and suffering. Mr. Roberts sat in court and said absolutely nothing to defend me. He was unprepared and very incompetent and just does not care about his clients.
