Edit: After meeting with judges and bailiffs, I have to say the experience was much better. The clerks at the windows don't represent the whole court. Original post- Clerks at the window are rude and unhelpful. We paid $240 to file paperwork, and asked if that was everything they needed. We were told "we can't give you legal advice." And sent around to different windows, only to be told it was the wrong window, and they can't help in any way. We went back today to request something to be approved by the judge in our case, only to have the rude man at the window ask "did you even read the additional form you need when turning this in?". Well, obviously I hadn't known about it, or I would have also filled that out and brought it in. I hope the court part of this goes smoother than the paperwork part.
Typically I wouldn't rating a courthouse but in this particular scenario I was led off the hook so 5 stars all the way!
Sending people back and forth to get passport pictures retaken needs to be resolved and it would be wise of this government service to reach out to community businesses taking photos that don’t match their photo outline and providing them with the outline to resolve such poor customer service. The clerk that helped me displayed such poor customer service, even stating, “well what if I were to tell you that your retake photo is worse than the first one?” People have lives and don’t have the time to be driving back and forth and the poor associates at Walgreens were frustrated since this institution has sent so many customers back to retake passport photos even though they are following the guidelines provided to them by the government. Shocking to see such bad attitudes since government jobs provide such great benefits. John, on the other hand, was EXTREMELY helpful and deserves to be recognized. He demonstrated respect, proficiency in his job, and took no questions personal as is expected in professionalism.
I cannot find one good experience I've had at this place so far, ( but who does) I'm looking at dealing with an issue that's four years old and a complete misunderstanding and I'm not and have not been in trouble for years like quite a few and I'm hoping for the best and hope the judge gives me a chance to shine and move away from here to be with family because I've been trying to leave here for three years and I've been stuck with being held by the courts and since my son passed away I've wanted to be with my family not alone.. I have hope for mercy from the courts...
This is the hardest organization to get in the phone that I have ever experienced. It is really infuriating. That said, when you do get a hold of someone their service is top notch and kind. Please get these great people some reinforcements, and maybe at least a general mail box in the phone tree. The lady at extension or option 7 deserves a raise. She’s a total gem!
