Was recommended to this firm when I needed to simply add one person's name to my existing trust and will. On the first visit, I was told it was customary to pay a $1500 retainer, but that usually for this kind of work, I'd certainly get some money back. I was figuring it would be a week or two to get my documents updated. Flash forward. Never heard anything back from them for one month until I called. Was invited to come sign the updated documents in about a week. Was told price would be about in line with the retainer and I could return in a week to pick everything up. Next thing I know I get a bill for another $2300!!! Tried calling the person who worked on my documents to inquire about these new exorbitant charges, and I could only leave voicemails because every time I was told he was "in a meeting". Finally had to resort to having another attorney friend call and talk to the person about this, and was told the person promised to call me back. Five days later, I got a brief message back from the person saying nothing substantive. I called back and actually made contact and discussed the huge charges and was told nothing but they did great and high quality work for me. The price was reduced $500 for a one time discount, and I went to pick up my documents. The person who handled this small job didn't even have the courage or professional decency to come out to the front desk and see me at this point. Bottom line. Unbelievably slow performance, gigantically overpriced money mill, and incredibly unprofessional attitudes. No matter what you do, go anywhere else for attorney's services in this town!!! The sole purpose of this review is to save others from the delays, grief, and horrible expense occuring at this firm!
