John Keker and his team helped make my 3 days of testifying in front of the SEC in Washington DC during the great blizzard one of the most confidence building ordeals of my career. He taught me just to speak the truth in the Cheyenne Software Securities litigation. This strategy has helped me with boundaries to keep out of the bureaucrats heads. It’s a tough thing when you are in sales because the instinct is to be persuasive. The timing of well placed “silence” is one of the best negotiating skills to have. They prepare their clients to be successful - and articulate. Over the next 25 years, I’ve traveled a lot and occasionally sat next to other SEC attorneys on airplanes - it was amazing how legendary the firm is and to have worked with John directly was a privilege. This firm is the team you want on your side when your reputation is at risk or your company is attacked by litigious shareholder groups.
