When my brother passed away leaving no will I was at a loss of what to do and how to go about it in the best way. I asked for an appointment to just come in and talk. It was set up and I went in. I was treated with respect and they were so kind to give me some much needed directions. They advised me I could do it on my own but, there were there if I needed them. It did not take long for me to make up my mind that I really needed to hire them to help me through this process of dealing with a house, vehicles, debts, etc.. I made another appointment and went in to explain I was not willing to take on the handling of this estate on my own because I wanted to make sure I handled it in the correct way. The staff gave me advice on every thing I was concerned with. I will not say it was a easy task but with their help it sure made it as easy as possible. They helped me through each and every step. They were always there each and every time I needed them. I want to give a shout out to Shannon McCart! I know I drove her batty at times but she was so kind and so helpful every time I needed her. I was not able to experience John E Tomlinson's services because I was fired as a client a month after reaching out. After sending a retainer (overnight) and all requested documentation to Ms. Shannon McCart, I never received verification of receipt of the retainer before leaving for the holidays, nor did I ever receive information on the next steps of my case or progress of the effort without asking for it first. Even after progress was promised twice Ms. McCart never followed up with me as promised. When I was told no progress was made because Mr. Tomlinson had to be out of the office without notice, I asked if that was going to be a problem. Without any explanation Ms. Mc Cart simply said "Fine. I will send you your retainer and documents back." Needless to say I was shocked, and while I can understand workload being a driver (hence my question if I would need to go elsewhere) I did not understand the attitude I continued to get from Ms. McCart each time I spoke to her. I can only assume it was due to workload, but I recommend finding other law services unless you have priority in the queue with Mr. Tomlinson himself.

Very knowledgeable and has some serious practice under his belt. Mr.Tomlinson has had cases in the United States Supreme Court. His experience shows through his calm and fact based style of legal counsel. I have no reason to not recommend taking your legal situation to Mr. John E Tomlinson for a consultation.

What can I say, Andy has been more than helpful, was there every step of the way, very understanding with my college schedule, and got THE JOB DONE. So grateful that we crossed paths and WILL CONTINUE to go to him if anything else occurs.
