We are the Law Offices of Kohl and Smith, providing legal services throughout Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau, Volusia and Baker counties in Northeast Florida. We are located in northwest St. Johns County just south of Julington Creek on the corner of State Road 13 and Warren Circle.

This attorney talks a good talk in the beginning but drags his feet and charges exorbitant fees with very little follow through. He was my attorney for 16 months when my case was reopened by my ex-husband and his attorney. Mr. Kohl was aware of the documents filed and indicated he could get the issues resolved. He initially responded to everything filed and also filed for child support modification. He decided to withdraw as my attorney after charging me fees and receiving payments totaling $6,500.00 which would be acceptable, but he has not managed to get issues resolved, has failed to schedule court hearings and to respond to opposing counsel in a timely manner resulting in a Motion for Default being filed against me. Currently, there are multiple motions left open and he did not even manage to get the appropriate hearing scheduled for child support modification.
Adam Kohl will always be my go to lawyer for anything I could need. Throughout our case he has been nothing but helpful and I can tell he has our best interest in mind at all times. He comes with many years of experience under his belt and is not afraid put pressure on opposing counsel in order to get the results you want. Adam will take time on his busiest of days or on weekends to answer any questions you may have. He has always been able to fit me in for a meeting last minute if I request one. His prices are reasonable and he is entirely worth it for any legal matter. With Adam as my lawyer my mind has been more at ease and he gets the results that I want.
Mr Smith handled my Will and Trust and was absolutely amazing, fast and very informative. Mr Kohl is extremely difficult to get ahold of and did not/ has not called me back in months despite leaving a multitude of messages with his staff.
