I've worked with Anita and her staff on 3 seperate property closings, and they are wonderful. Eve is so sweet and promptly handles any issues that may arise during the closing process. There is another female secretary (can't think of her name at the moment) whom also is great and prompt. I flip houses for a living, so I've got more properties in the future that'll need attorney to over see. WARNING!!! I used Anita for the closing of my home. The day of closing the seller didn’t have all the contingencies done. I told Anita I’m not closing because he didn’t comply with the contingencies. Anita explained that “she would get money put into an escrow account.” She explained an escrow agreement basically states that “the seller would complete the contingencies with an extension.” Well at closing she did achieve an escrow account, which gave the seller an extra 21 days to comply with the contingencies. However, the seller didn’t comply again. I reached out to Anita and her office several times in references to this matter. Eventually, Anita stop returning my calls and my emails. Leaving me to negate for myself. Completely unprofessional! Nonetheless, this was an expensive lesson learned and I wouldn’t refer anyone to Anita. Well if she’s your attorney already, don’t let her talk you into an “escrow agreement” because she may just abandon you too!
