I would recommend Dan Krause Estate Planning and Elder Law without hesitation to anyone searching for estate planning help. We were unsure how to proceed with writing wills, and were not satisfied with a will we wrote 20 years prior. We contacted Krause Estate Planning only on the basis of an ad that attracted our attention. In an initial meeting, we talked through our issues and concerns and Dan provided us with choices and information and made us feel comfortable and secure with the process. He explained to us in language we could understand the laws that relate to wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts. After making our choices, the documents he drafted impressed us with their completeness. It was clear that he had put time into thinking through possible or potential situations and included language to address what appeared to us to be any situation or event. Emails and phone calls were promptly returned and the work got done in a timely fashion. Legal Staff were easy to deal with. We felt that Dan provided individually focused legal advice and services, tailored to our situation. It was not a cookie cutter or boiler plate approach.

The team at Krause Donovan is outstanding. Prior to meeting with them, I was under the misconception that a trust was for "rich people". My 79-year-old mother was financially comfortable, but certainly not wealthy. Krause Donovan was able to explain everything to us & guided us through the process to establish her trust. Sadly my mother passed less than 2 years after her trust was established. Having the trust in place was a huge comfort to our family. I was dissatisfied with the client service I received from this firm. I found it frustrating because my family's phone calls, emails, etc., were not returned in a timely fashion, the entire process took much longer than we were told, and we received inaccurate information by the staff. That being said, the firm did reach out to me afterward about my experience and listened to my concerns. Hopefully they will address issues within their firm and client experiences in the future will be more positive than my family's was.
