Lauren Hoben was very personable and informative with my situation. However when it came down to represent me it wasn’t the same. It’s hard to get in touch with her office unless you call early in the morning. If you leave a message, your call is never returned. I emailed her my evidence, directed by her receptionist and it wasn’t used in court. I’m 100% sure my case would’ve turned out in my favor if I had represented myself. I was very disappointed for what I was handed verses all of the great reviews. And also the great reviews word of mouth, which was what led me to her. I’ve sat down with multiple lawyers, given outrageous amounts in consultations fees and none of them even remotely came close to what I’m looking for except Lauren Hoben. Now, yet again my instinct feels of greed. I was so embarrassed in the courtroom, with the lack of confidence that was presented. My case was called numerous times and Lauren wasn’t present to proceed with the hearing. The judge loudly expressed how he wanted to postpone my hearing because it had been a long day. Parts of me feels like the judge was over that day which could be why my case wasn’t fairly heard but I also felt like my case could’ve been fought harder. Even if it had to be moved to a later date. In no way am I deliberately speaking poorly on this practice because I do feel like she is a good person, I myself was just disappointed.

Ms. Hoben was court appointed to me in Rowan county. I have never had such a wonderful attorney! She was so helpful and got me a wonderfully fair sentencing. I would definitely retain her if I ever need an attorney again

Lauren has been my court-appointed lawyer for every case I've ever had ranging from Juvenile Court to misdemeanors to a couple felonies that I got. Well, she's good friends with the d a so she got me out of all three of my felonies and got it put down to only one misdemeanor of dwelling in a vehicle or something like that and all I got was probation. So I am very thankful to her. Also I had Charlie Brown as a judge and he was awesome to me he loves me and I love him! He has always done me good no matter what. Judge Barringer or whatever the one that has gray hair that is older I think he has glasses and he's a big guy like a chunky guy, he's horrible. If you get him then try to change judges because he is horrible. I would definitely recommend Charlie Brown and if you have to get a court-appointed lawyer then I would definitely most definitely ask for a Lauren hoben she is definitely the best lawyer I have ever met in my life. She also takes time out of her days to let me come in the office and just vent and she always tells the truth no matter what she is always honest. She is a wonderful lawyer. I almost feel bad that I don't have to pay her. And if I ever do have to pay her to get my boys back, then I will. She is very worth it. Love her to pieces. She is been there for me through hard times and that's all I've ever had in my life so I look at her as a dear friend also even though you're not supposed to have that relationship with a lawyer I guess I just can't help but feel that way towards her. She is wonderful and the best I can't say that enough. If you have to have a lawyer and pay one then definitely most definitely go with her. I'm telling you, it will be worth it in the end.
