As of today's date, he has seemingly lost a very important piece of evidence (a legally attained audio recording from the police department) that I gave to him as it related to a case he had represented me in, and instead of just admitting that he lost it, he accused me of illegally taping a police officer; which is a complete fabrication. I contacted the Police department in question regarding the particular incident and paid them for the audio recording in accordance with all applicable laws and departmental policies for said body audio recording; that their officers are required to engage during certain circumstances. I gave that audio to Mr. Cavanaugh for the case in question. I have asked for it back and he cannot produce it.

Mr.. Cavanaugh took my case pertaining to my federal retirement. There was an error in how a court order from my divorce many years ago was applied to my pension, affecting it in a very negative way. After several attempts on my part to contact them to find out how this had happened, and with no response from them, I contacted Mr. Cavanaugh for help. He reviewed my court order and supporting documentation and after concluding that an error had been made, he contacted the pension office and worked with them to find their error and to resolve the matter. In the end the correct pension amount was restored and back payments of prior pensions made to me. Mr.. Cavanaugh was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and responsive in providing recommendations which I felt were always in my best interest. I thought his fees were very reasonable for what you would expect to pay for an experienced attorney.

Kevin has been the only lawyer I trust!! I have been through a lot of lawyer this past few years since my husband's death and he was the ONLY one who gave me results that he did a a timely matter.
