I was in custody when I paid for this attorney to come see me in jail. Pretended to care but did not even have retainers with her. She was on her cell phone most of the time when she came and spoke to me. I needed her services for a Juvenile Dependency case (CPS Court-Family). She came and spoke with me and began asking me about my assets and how much I had obtained from a civil settlement. I disclosed a lot to her and she told me that she was friends with this attorney, that attorney, that she would talk to my prosecuting D.A. to help me get an early release. That she would speak with my criminal attorney and work out an early release for me for testifying aginst a lifer case. She sold herself good and never even contacted a single person.nThis attorney made all these promises and to get in contact with my criminal attorney to get a better understanding of the case. She claimed her goal was to keep families together and that she would be better than the public defenders assigned in Juvenille Dependency court.nThis attorney had sufficient time to go to the court and become the attorney of record and to obtain the file from the public defender. She charged me at an hourly rate and charged a full hour for fifteen minute phone calls. nShe failed to have me transferred to the Children's court in Los Angeles and was not allowed to represent me because she never did the paper work to officially become my attorney of record. nShe claimed that retained attorneys had priority over cases, but she charged me an hourly rate. She was not allowed to represent me by the Judge due to her not doing the paperwork. She was not prepared. And because she charges hourly,ironically enough, my case was the last to be heard. nThis attorney did not prepare herself for the hearing and was deemed 'never on record'.
