I am so grateful and beyond impressed with Charles‘s representation of me yesterday, even though had been a long drawn out process (not his fault) He was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. He fought very hard for me. I would recommend him to anyone and my family would use them in the future if we ever needed to considering sat in court over the past four months for a total of 20 or so hours he is the most competent most knowledgeable and most articulate attorney in Burke county and surrounding areas. We moved from Mecklenburg County (charlotte) and I really wish I had met him 20 years ago. I’m still in awe of his complete representation. I have used Charles several times as an attorney. Mostly with getting my license back. He is a wonderful attorney and cares about his clients. I strongly recommend giving him a call if you want a good attorney.

I paid this thing to represent me on four charges that I had in advance and he said that I didn't have to appear because he would take care of it. Well I was living in Spruce Pine at the time and I was surrounded by a task force and ordered out with face to ground and all that. Very humiliating situation. That was for failure to appear. My bond in Burke County was $6000 dollars. I called him from jail and he would not answer his phone. Then I was dumb enough to retain this thing to represent me in my divorce settlement. I paid him $1500 in advance to represent me and after not hearing from him after x amount of time I made an appointment to discuss with him my case and he had no idea who I was or why I should be there. Incompetent, unable and uncaring or unwilling is how I describe my experience with this thing. Charles G Lawrence

As per the response from the “Business Owner” to the last review we are the CLIENT and we have addressed these concerns with Mr. Bostian and his response was “well hire a new lawyer”. Not too easy to do considering he is court appointed. We met with him several times per our request in his office, which even that was excruciating just trying to make an appointment with him, and during each meeting he seemed to think he had everything under control and knew what we were fighting for, but then when it was his turn to speak in court he stood and asked the judge for something COMPLETELY different than we had even discussed. But at that point it was too late, there are no re-do’s in court, the judge made his decision and we should have known by how hard it was to contact him and all of the other red flags along the way that we should never have let him talk to a judge on our behalf! Additionally, we are extremely disappointed in the way he handled our case and even more of an uphill battle trying to fix everything he messed up!!! If you have a case involving child custody PLEASE steer clear of this man! He does not care one bit about yours and your child’s best interest!
