Dave is great!! I hired him after I fired attorney Gina McNea from Sandusky, Ohio. Dave and Elizabeth Quinn took over my divorce case about halfway through and I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. They communicated with me throughout the entire process and represented me to the best of their abilities. It seemed like my ex’s attorney was hoping to go to trial and was pushing for conflict between us. However, after asking them if it was a good idea, both Dave and Liz encouraged me to reach out to my ex and speak with him myself so we could move forward and be civil towards each other. Best advice ever. We both are happy with the outcome and we are in a good place now, which is all I ever wanted for my children and myself. I highly recommend Dave and Liz. Dave recently represented my wrongfully accused minor son in a felony criminal case. He was not only very knowledgeable of the law but was genuinely just as determined as myself to resolving the case. He took the time to listen and showed concern and compassion. Chelsea I had the same thing happen to me. 7 years ago. I paid Dave $1500 to represent me for my divorce and after 1 or 2 meetings with my ex and her lawyer Dave stopped answering my calls. I couldn't get a hold of him for 6 months. And by chance I bumped into him at a sporting event at St. Ursula and confronted him. And told him I wanted my money back and he told me to call him the next morning. Long story short I only got like $50 back. And I can prove that if I need to. I would recommend Richard Karcher if anyone need a Real lawyer. He's more professional than this guy.

I first met David in 2011. I was in a nasty custody battle with my ex for my daughter. At the time she was 5. I won custody of my baby girl 6 months after Hiring David. I can't express how much I appreciate the way Dave handled things. He put up with my excessive crying, my angry outburst, ALWAYS answered my calls, called me back when he couldn't & was/is very professional! He knows the laws, how to make them work in his clients favor & how to get results! He worked with me so graciously when it came to paying him. Never made me feel bad or stopped working for me when I couldn't get him his cash on time! He's a good man on top of being a good lawyer! He's who I've called over the years WHENEVER I have a legal issue & helps as much as he can, EVERY time! I don't believe 1 word of the things being said on here about him taking money from people & ghosting them! He's helped people without even getting paid! (I know that because I was one of them) I call BS! I will continue to recommend Dave Shook to all my friends, family or anyone I know that needs a good lawyer. If someone has issues with his service or how he handled your case, it's without a doubt, because you deserved it!
