?????? DENISE IS AS DISHONEST AS THEY COME. ?????? Researching attorneys, I called her office twice (totaling over 40 minutes according to the phone bill) to explain my case involving a brother who is illegally changing wills and trusts against my parent’s wishes. A month later, her assistant said she was too busy to take on my case. Respectable! So I thought… After divulging many details about the case, she actually retained MY BROTHER as her client and represented HIM (not me) in court!!! Denice NEVER performed a conflict check because, if she did, she could not legally nor ethically retain my brother. She had many details from me that gave her the upper hand in representing my brother. How unfair and unethical is that? ???? To perform a conflict check on all parties is LAW 101, folks. Denice must have missed that lesson in law school so why would anyone hire her if she doesn’t know basic legal protocol?!?! STAY AWAY FROM HIRING HER AT ALL COSTS.

Absolutely the biggest swindling lawyer I've heard of in a long time. Denice is currently being investigated by the AZ State Bar due to accepting a case without thorough investigation. The case in question involves an already existing POA, an already existing lawyer, and an entire family of witnesses who have been involved for years. Denice Shepherd has chosen to be hired by a grifter who is not in his right mind, has never had a job, is 75 years old, and who has said that dead people are telling him to hire her so he can hold his brothers (who has dementia) money. Maybe Denice Shepherd also has dementia and should retire before embarrassing herself and her "law firm" any further.

Denice is an unscrupulous lawyer. She was my uncle's Conservator and was directly responsible for his horrific death as he lay there dying, she wouldn't make a decision to engage hospice care. He suffered. She seems to believe that a law degree qualifies her to practice medicine. Now that he has died, she ignores his next of kin as they are working out the details of his estate. She is a money grubbing pig who causes pain in an already painful situation.

Back in January I was referred to Denise Shepards offices thru my grandmother's lawyer after she passed. I contacted them the first week of January. It is now February 18. Over a month and a half and I haven't been return contacted at all. I reconfirmed my phone number, my grandmother's attorney reconfirmed my phone number, after the office said my number was wrong. Several calls by me to connect resulted in a less then 2 minute talk where I was told I would get a return call. Nothing. This is absolutely terrible service and needs to be relayed to as many people who read this. Deaths are difficult to begin with and to be ignored by a law office with business dealing directly with said deaths is about as callous as can be. I suggest finding other services if you should find the need for them.

Denice is a longtime friend and I must admit she runs over people on a regular basis and never looks back. She is not honest in her dealings with her clients or friends or with vulnerable people, she bullies friends and all.
