Law Office of John C Filkins

John Filkins is a horrible attorney that does not return phone calls. The Hancock probate court elected to have Mr. Filkins be my mom's legal guardian. I would never recommended this attorney to anyone. Mr. Filkins did not help my mother and my mom died because of Kenton nursing home. Mr. Filkins did not ever call any of our family to discuss mom mothers medicine or medical condition. He failed to help her. John C. Filkins posted a rebuttal to my honest review of him. John did not ever speak to us regarding my mother or her condition. He spoke to a person that does not speak to any family members because she is a vindictive insane individual that does not care about our mother or her family. John would never call us back even though I called his office 15 different times. I live in Texas and I had nothing to do with what took place in Ohio, so his excuse is a lie and a joke and he is the most unprofessional attorney I have ever encountered. I have worked with many different attorneys and Mr. John C. Filkins is very unprofessional and lied about taking care of his ward. He did nothing to help her or communicate with us about her condition. I do not care what he states in his rebuttal it is not true and very misleading as I knew it would be, after all he thinks he is cleaver with his words he speaks, but it is only words that are not true, accurate or reality. No family member was abusing my mother so quit lying Mr. Filkins you are full of it. John

mr. filkins is great my ex lied about so much stuff lied about me hurting her lied about how i treat my kids and mr. filkins couldnt have done a better job he was great listen to everything i had to say with no judgement. cant say enough good things. his secretary cindy is awesome aswell. 10/10 service. thank you to the both of you

I have known Mr. Filkins FOR 4 yrs..i have to say it was a miracle how and when we met ...i was at my lowest in my life without seeing my son for years because his mom moved away ....and today i i have full legal and physical custody . he has went above and beyond to do everything in his power to make things happen...my opinion A TRUE HERO!!!! AND HIS WIFE IS THE MOST AWESOME LADY AS WELL . THAT NIGHT SHE WAS AN ANGEL . SHE COMPLETED HER MISSION IN LIFE THAT NIGHT ... Thank you so much
