I want to leave a review for Cyrus Kotenai. I initially hired him to be my attorney before he moved to TCFL and kept him after he transferred. He has done everything in his power to help me, he is amazing with communication, and he genuinely cares for his clients and their needs. He will listen to every little detail, and he will take what you want into deep consideration. I enjoyed having Mr. Kotenai on my team.
Tri-Cities Family Law is absolutely wonderful and their team is thoughtful, kind, and understanding. Kari Hayles-Davenport, the lawyer is amazing and took me on at the 11th hour and did her full due diligence and stood up for me knowing all facts and matters of the case. The paralegal, Sherri is amazing and has dealt with my numerous calls and endless questions. The other staff members, Jennifer and Ticia are helpful, quick to return calls, and willing to help if you have struggles. Kari took me on making an exception no other lawyer would. I recommend this law firm to the fullest extent.
I've consulted and/or hired at least 6 different family law attorneys in the past 14 years, and this office is the most organized, thorough, and scheduled office. There is no turn over rate, Erika, Dawn, and Ticia have been with Kari forever, I've been their client for i think 5 years now, they set out a schedule and follow it. Nothing is dragged out, they are completely on top of their game, they return phone calls in a timely manner, they have a nice electric program that is easy to follow, they work well with the mediator Debra Brown And, they are so compassionate and understanding. . They care very much and make it all easier to deal with, family heartache, etc, I appreciate the way they have handled my stress, divorce, parenting plans, mediation, etc Very professional and personal office. Highly recommend them.
I hired Kari as my 2nd divorce Attorney 4 years, after my first Attorney did a horrible job of representation. (Ben Dow) Kari was able to quickly see the mistakes that had been made, and fought for me during the entirety of the 2 year long process. She is passionate about her job and won't sugar-coat things; always being realistic and truthful. Her staff is also exemplary in their duties....Sherri and Erika are both great paralegals, and always so friendly. Ticia does an amazing job at being on top of what's going on in the office and always helpful during the proceedings. I have even referred 3 different people to Kari, who also hired her as well. Highly recommend Kari as your Attorney for any Domestic or Family issues!!
This law office is horrible. My daughter hired them to help her with her parenting plan/custody case. She left several messages and never got a return phone call back. When she finally got someone to answer the phone, the receptionist was RUDE and basically accused my daughter of being the rude one. My daughter did not raise her voice or get rude until she was spoken to like a second class citizen. She paid the retainer fee of $2500 and once they got the money, it seemed like her case wasn't so important anymore. My daughter asked for her money back so that she could go somewhere else and when she went to pick up the funds, the attorney, Jerry Davis, had written a letter stating that he was withdrawing as her attorney because she spoke rude to his staff. Well guess what Mr. Davis, my daughter had already requested to withdraw as your client, so what you said in that letter was unnecessary and uncalled for. Also, Mr. Davis, you were very unprepared for the court hearings and my daughter had to go through two different continuances before something was done. Even then, you communicated with the other party more than you did with your own client. Setting up meetings according to what his schedule was not what was in the best interest of your client. Maybe if your staff or you would return phone calls, you wouldn't have such upset people that you are dealing with. I'm sorry but I am a professional and the appropriate time to return a phone call is within 24 hours. I get that you are representing other people, but maybe you shouldn't have your kids in the office with you during a mediation hearing that continued to interrupt the session and then charge the client $500 for that service. This is a horrible office to work with and I hope nobody else has to deal with such a RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL Staff. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE....HORRIBLE
