If I could give 0 stars I would because he is the worst attorney that anyone could possibly get. I ended with him because they recommended him to me and it’s been over a year that he had been working on my case and I met the guy TWICE. Wouldn’t appear in court, wouldn’t even give me the time of day to speak to me about my case, all he would do was have his secretaries or whatever they are ask for more and more money when he was doing absolutely nothing hence why I never wanted to finish paying him because I never even witnessed him proving any services. Go with Ray Garza instead or any other lawyer even court appointed if possible because this man all he does is rip people off.

I had a case out of Brownsville, Texas and ended up hiring this guy to handle it. It was honestly the biggest waste of money. First off, he never spoke to me about my case. I lived in another State and was forced to fly in multiple times to appear just to be given a sheet of paper with my next court order. He never told me what he was going to do, what was going on in the case, never even let me see the police report when I asked. It was simply, GARBAGE. The one time I actually had something done was when he had another attorney from a different firm cover for him. This attorney, I don’t remember his name unfortunately, was amazing. After speaking with him, he told me he didn’t understand why my case didn’t go through the diversion program yet. He immediately set me up to eventually get my case dismissed. This was done at one court appearance by a coverage attorney who knew NOTHING about the case, while with Michael I got absolutely nothing done after three trips to court (and thousands more in airfare, hotel and rental car costs). Oddly enough, I ended up graduating from law school and deal with criminal defense attorneys everyday for work. There are a lot of good ones and a lot of horrible ones that make you wonder, “how does this man/lady even get clients?”. Then I feel bad for the defendant because he/she is receiving horrible service and paying thousands of dollars for it. I must say, the service I received from Michael, or lack there of, is one of the worst I’ve ever come across. If I knew then what I know now, I would have never hired this guy but instead, I would have requested a public defender. They are at least passionate about the work they do. Bottom line, don’t give this guy the time of day because he definitely won’t return the favor.
