Excellent GAL. He is compassionate and really tries to do what is in the best interest of the children. It is hard these days to find an honest lawyer that is committed to his work. He went of his way to meet with me and always found time to hear my concerns in regards to the children. My case was a very difficult and contested custody case. Yet Mr. Patton handled the case with grace. There are no words to say thank you for your assistance and commitment to your work. While my ex got custody I know Mr. Patton did everything to get clarification on the issues at hand. Sadly he could not undo what had taken place already. He truly was a a blessing and gleam of Hope. I highly recommend him.

I don't know what happened with some of the reviews but I can tell you that through over 10 years in the legal system, Mr Patton has never let us down and did his best to serve our interest. Whether in JDR or some other court he was always RIGHT THERE and we've had other attorneys as well.. I guess it depends if you're on the winning or losing side at the end of your case.. I recommend him highly.

If you get him as a GAL or Judge, request someone else as fast as you can....Contact me for reference and I will inform you of my opinion. If I could summarize in a quote this Stafford JDR system, which includes Mr. Patton, it would be, "Once conform, once do what other people do because they do it, and a lethargy steals over all the finer nerves and faculties of the soul." Get a lawyer from outside Stafford County, and don't let Mr. Patton be an advocate for your children because the law doesn't allow for it.

I gave Terrance Patton a 1 and he DONT even deserve that!He was supposed to be my granddaughters attorney and poorly represent her where he suggest she is to her father's every other week for a whole week-a father who only seen her 3 times.He took her from her home she had since she was born and has her go to a dysfunction family. Disturbing her entire schedule-Terrible lawyer!

Well spoken, knowledgeable, personable, understanding, flexible and economic are excellent descriptions of him and his services. He diligently worked to accomplish a reasonable outcome tailored to my request. He responded to all my questions or correspondence within minutes. I definitely recommend him in the event you need legal representation.....
