Colleen is a very knowledgeable, caring attorney. She will always put the needs of children first, regardless of which side she is representing. She is warm and compassionate, but won't hesitate in speaking her mind. A truly honest, humble attorney is a rare find these days. She definitely falls in that category.

Colleen was a life saver during the times of crisis, she was honest, and understanding the whole time, and walked me through the family legal system! Highly recommend anyone to her services!!

This lawyer represented my ex in our child custody case. My child’s dad was going for majority custody. Even he said Bratcher seemed to make the case drag on as long as possible so she could make more money. He now pays child support and we share 50/50 custody, as it should be, and that is exactly what I was going for all along. The most egregious thing she did was write extremely misleading statements and half-truths about me in her motions (a tactic she continued to use throughout the case). When we eventually made it to court, Bratcher was reprimanded by the judge. She said Colleen Bratcher “purposely mislead the court”, and the judge was angry about it. Folks on both sides joked that Bratcher didn’t look or act like a lawyer and some people even said she was more like a bowling alley smoker than a lawyer. She seemed incompetent when it came to telling the truth, and appeared to have a poor strategy when it came to backing up those claims in the courtroom. Even my child’s dad said he couldn’t stand her and said he had to ask her to stop contacting him! He called her a clown, among other names that we can’t mention here, and said the whole case “took years off his life”. My lawyer, on the other hand, was a really good lawyer, and a powerhouse in the courtroom. She spoke the truth, and that was all I needed in order to make Colleen Bratcher sheepishly crawl right back into her corner. I only wish my lawyer had more time to rip apart her fake news story. My ex settled very quickly after watching my lawyer kick Colleen Bratcher’s butt in the courtroom. Money well spent.
