He was given an option to avoid being disbarred again the resolution was the following: Mr. Farbstein has resigned as a mediator and has agreed not to do mediations in the future. You will be receiving a letter and a copy of the order of dismissal of the case from our office. Mr. Farbstein is a brilliant person and attorney. His analytical ability and legal acumen is second to none. An acquaintance of mine who hired Mr. Farbstein for a difficult divorce and child custody case recommended Mr. Farbstein to me because my first attorney did not meet my expectations. I established a strong partnership with Mr. Farbstein, and his ability to think strategically impressed me from the beginning. What sets Mr. Farbstein apart is that he consistently demonstrated a caring attitude for our children—and continued to do so after my case was settled.

This lawyer is extremely unprofessional. Read about his (3) year suspension by the Florida bar. By his own admission he was an alcoholic and drug user. Used his clients money inappropriately. The Florida bar notes that this offense was one of the most serious offenses a lawyer could commit usually warranting disbarment. Took a friend there and he asked to take her picture for his file. Stay away from this creep.
