I met Cathy Cook in the spring of 2016. I was referred by a friend who knew of seven others who had all been represented by Cathy and ALL were delighted with the representation they received. I hired Cathy to represent me in my divorce. Sadly six weeks later my son committed suicide... that's when my world fell apart. As tough as Cathy is in the courtroom, she has a heart of gold. As I sat sobbing in her office she looked at me and said " you let me do my job and handle this - you take care of yourself and your girls ". And that is EXACTLY what she did. Cathy and her team were very easy to work with, set clear expectations, and there were no surprises in regards to costs/billing. The most important thing to note is that Cathy knows what she’s doing and when she tells you something (facts/figures etc) rest assured she is correct regardless of what another attorney might say. Also, if she gives advice or offers suggestions, take them- it will save a lot of time and money…just roll with it and follow her lead. Any time I didn’t, I always wished I had. Throughout the process, I learned and once I did, things wrapped up quickly. Cathy is a good person and she will work hard for you and take care of your best interests.
