Do NOT use this law firm. Cristina Nelson has absolutely no compassion or interest in helping with something so important as Estate Planning. I believe it’s pretty important to trust your lawyer and there’s no way in the world I would trust her. I don’t believe she even knows what she’s doing. Move on…
Cristina only wanted to discuss questions I had about her firm's questionnaire over the phone; refused to put any of the specifics in writing. My situation wasn't very straightforward, so I wanted to make sure I fully understood the contract that was being drafted. After a month of waiting to hear back, I offered to have a recorded MS Teams call with her (so that I could have something to reference in the future, since talking and taking notes during a call is distracting). She cited her concerns about "attorney-client privilege" and said another attorney would be better suited at helping me. Might as well just use LegalZoom since she doesn't like dealing with something that's not boilerplate.
This law firm does NOT care about you. I inquired about services to fight a basic traffic ticket and received a call from Pamela. After learning that I have MetLife Legal and its "just a traffic ticket", this office decided all of a sudden that it was not worth their time. Pamela suggests that you just pay whatever you need to so you dont waste your time even if you didn't commit that offense or it wasn't deserved. Pamela provided incorrect information about what a deferment entitles. I told her from experience that what she was saying is incorrect. This seems to be one of those attorneys that they give the easy cases to so they can learn and get the experience which clearly she can use. The entire initial phone call with Pamela was her talking and repeating herself without listening to anything I had to say. Anytime I tried to say something, she would talk right over me. Disgustingly rude and when I finally said "Let me finish what I am saying", she said im not going to take this case. How dare I interrupt her (insert eyeroll here). Now all of a sudden she is busy for the next few weeks. This office is a joke. This is my second attempt to use them and always the same result. I have reported them to MetLife legal for refusing to accept this legal insurance. Hope you find someone else worthy of your money because this place is NOT it.
Christina Nelson is an excellent attorney. She prepared our estate plan which included our will, power of attorney and an advance medical directive. She is very knowledgeable and thoroughly went over many scenarios we didn’t even think of, she explain Texas law to us and answered our many questions. We left the office with peace of mind knowing our loved ones will be taken care of.
I reached out via email with a request for assistance on a matter and did not receive any reply. I find it discourteous and unprofessional to not at least acknowledge an inquiry, even if just to say the office is unavailable or not interested.
