Reviews

It’s sooo difficult getting on the phone with someone. No reason they’re collecting thousands of dollars a day but don’t have an office full of people answering calls….. BUT when I get them on the phone they’re usually easy to work with.
Pay very close attention to the reviews. I tried to work with them for months, even through my garnishment. And I saved every email record and phone call! The garnishment they had in place expired and they tried to come for me again without serving me or communicating about the second garnishment. I provided payment stubs and a payment plan offer. I could have rendered every dime I owed after my husband was laid off (and thankfully he has employment again!) However, if I’m unable to represent myself in court and they don’t tell you, I guess it’s hard to do that, huh? Unethical and illegal. Out of all of the debt collectors I’ve had to work with to get back on our feet, G&G are hands down the worst. Sketchy business practices. Beware and retain legal counsel before approaching this group!
These guys are horrible, they never answer the phone & have lied to me multiple time stating they have faxed or emailed the release form for a garnishment that I have paid in full. State law in Maryland is 13 days to notify your company and it has been over a month. Im going to have to talk to my lawyer now to see what to do next but this is absolutely ridiculous, I hope i can sue because no one should go through this, but only time will tell.
I've been trying to reach this law firm for several weeks and no one EVER returns calls or emails. They dont even care about these horrible reviews with complaints of the exact same thing. All they reply with on this review page is a generic message which seems automated and routes you to an email address that nobody ever monitors. This seems predatory in nature and I am considering filing a complaint with the attorney generals office.
We've been making payments for the past year and all of a sudden they are attacking us as if we never made any payments. Never communicated to us if there was an outstanding balance, nothing. Now they're trying to garnish our wages for an amount beyond what was owed. Shady, unprofessional, and corrupt practices.
