Attorney Pratt Austin-Trucks was appointed as GAL in my custody modification case. The Judge could not have picked a better Attorney for my children than Attorney Pratt. She was kind & very informative. She also listened to both sides equally & only made her opinion based on facts. 10/10 recommend her. Her office assistant was always kind and helpful as well.

The review that follows is based on my families experience with this law firm and your experience may differ. I had the unfortunate experience of retaining this firm to represent us in a custody action after the death of my son. Upon meeting Ms. Austin, we were given a lot of promises of what she would do to represent us. On several occasions we met with Ms. Austin and discussed evidence that could benefit us at the upcoming hearing a few months away. About a week before the hearing, we met again with Ms. Austin, and it became clear that she had failed to develop any of the evidence that we had discussed with her. We even went as far as sending her an email and informed her she was bringing us into court with our hands tied behind our back by not having developed evidence to support our case. The day of the hearing the sole extent of Ms. Austins representation consisted of her is sitting in the courtroom while her daughter read the initial complaint. When it came time to present evidence to support the allegations in the complaint, Ms. Austin and her daughter acknowledged they had no evidence to support our claims. It seemed she relied solely on the guardian ad litem to prove our case. The judge made it clear that without evidence his hands were tied, and it was clear at this point in our fears were founded, and we had failed our grandson and lost our case because none of the evidence provided to Ms. Austin was presented at the hearing. In our opinion what the firm did was drain our retainer while failing to act on any of the concerns we had brought to them. We can't blame the court, it was extremely fair and professional, we do however blame the total disregard Ms. Austin and her daughter (who we had never talked to until the day of the hearing) gave to our case. Ms. Austin went on later to tell us she did not need the money, she only practiced law to help people. We disagree, in our opinion, it was always about the money. I can't imagine why an attorney would bring a client to their office to discuss evidence and fail to subpoena witnesses or evidence they discussed that would help prove their case. We fired Ms. Austin and her daughter in the courtroom that day before leaving the courthouse. Ms. Austin made sure to send a letter to threaten us that if we presented our concerns, she would file a slander and libel suit. We feel that if the firm had only taken their responsibility at heart and provided reasonable representation to develop our case the outcome would have been very different. We understand that the outcome of a court proceeding is always uncertain but, in our opinion this firm doomed our case by failing to develop evidence we discussed with them. The opinions presented are true, fair and correct to the best of our knowledge and are our experiences with this firm. The fact that Ms. Austin would threaten us to keep quiet about our terrible experiences in our opinion is even more of an indicator of her firms disregard for the client and preservation of her reputation at all costs. We would caution anyone considering using this firm to think twice.

Ms jackey is the best lawyer around.wins all her cases ! She got custody of my daughter and she has won servoral other cases for me. She is awesome lady and a awesome lawyer. She definitely will go to war for you.

Receptionist was very rude and insensitive to one's needs. I'm not sure how the lawyer services are didn't make it that far, cause the receptionist was rude and unprofessional.
