Noel cooper I truly don’t have enough BAD things to say about this man. Trust the reviews!! He doesn’t even have one employee in his office and that was my first red flag. What reputable attorney doesn’t have a legal assistant and or a secretary? This man yelled at me and went months without responding to me. He missed a hearing and never notified me of said hearing. How does that happen as an attorney who I would assume visits the courthouse often? I asked him for months to draw up final divorce papers, but not once could he get that RIGHT either. Instead he just wanted me to come in again and waste money when nothing had changed. His emails were absolutely horrendous, almost as if my 9 year old child has responded to me. Then he dropped me 2 weeks before our final hearing (again which he did not notify me of said hearing, my husbands attorney had to the week before). He also has this reputation with his peers as I met with a few other attorneys in the process, and they all had the same thing to say about him. Now he is running for district judge… laughable. Truly laughable. Also how do you switch from the Democratic ticket to Republican? He ran for district judge as a democrat in 2020 and LOST. He’s trying his luck again on the republican ticket. You’re not fooling us…. DONT VOTE FOR NOEL!

UPDATE: WE FOUND OUT NONE OF THIS WAS TRUE WILL PUBLISH COMPLETE UPDATE SOON DO NOT HIRE HIM FOR FAMILY LAW. Mr. Cooper seems to display the characteristics of a man whom is sure of himself and a winner. He is sharp and appeared to geniunely care about our unique circumstance. He asked to see the picture of my child whom I am fighting for. That simple act demonstrated to me a sense of empathy for my plight that most attorneys do not have. Will update when the case is over until than I gave 5 stars for our initial contact.

Mr. Cooper has been the best attorney. He took my stepdads case really seriously, answered all his questions & helped him get started with a child custody case. We have been going to Mr. Cooper since 2018 I believe & he has not failed us once! Really great with communicating back to us.

I'm not one to say something and not do it, with that being said, I called today and was answered directly by Noel, and asked some questions regarding legalities and while he recognized that hiring a firm in his area was not my best first step, he still continued to listen, and give very meaningful advice that really answered a lot of questions that other attorneys have not been able to answer without hesitation. While I will start by using an attorney in a different state, I really appreciate him taking the time to talk to someone on the spot without all the red tape. It goes a long way, so please take this review and testimony as my appreciation.

I called around searching for a lawyer. I called Noel office and left a message and he actually returned my phone call. I called every attorney in Nacogdoches in which the receptionist stated I needed to make an appointment, pay a consultation fee just to find out how much it would cost to file an uncontested/ no children divorce. Attorney Cooper answered all questions and actually gave me a quote with no hesitation and because of that, regardless of the other reviews, he will obtain my business!
